All That You Should Know Before Splurging On Microblading – What exactly is microblading?

Microblading is a form of eyebrow architecture. It is all about creating the best shape for each and every face a totally bespoke means for each client. The procedure is very precise due to the tool which is used that is effectively just like a pen with the nib being a sloped blade with 10-12 little needles at the end – needles that dont penetrate your skin layer but delicately scratch the surface, similar to a paper cut. The needle very finely implants featherweight strokes using a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer for that skin, creating fine, realistic and natural hair strokes.

How is microblading eyebrows different to having your brows tattooed? Microblading, unlike tattooing, is not really in the deep layer of skin, but more on the surface. This can be not permanent, and also the colour fades within eighteen months. The hair strokes are far more natural and finer than any tattoo, as being a handheld needle/blade is used there is absolutely no electrical gadget that permeates deep within this technique. There exists therefore even more of a scratching noise, as opposed to a buzz of the tattoo gun which pierces your skin layer so deeply.

Could you be allergic to microblading? You will find people who are sensitive and allergic to a few pigments, but in my experience this is extremely rare. I will always perform a patch or scratch test to check you are not allergic prior to the treatment.

Exactly how much does microblading cost? A Suman microblading treatment costs 500. This includes a consultation, the initial treatment as well as a top up treatment after 6-8 weeks.

What actually happens when you are getting your eyebrows microbladed? I shape the brow area by threading the hairs, cleaning up the location and preparing it for that treatment. Numbing this takes 40mins using a topical ointment. Although this is working its numbing magic, I’ll show your client colour swatches and discuss together the most effective shade for their desired look.

ten minutes prior to the numbing cream has to a stage of working, I’ll use my tools to begin with measuring the area across the brows, taking into account face shape, symmetry, facial features etc. I Then begin the needling process – gently implanting the pigment via featherweight strokes. Each stroke is a superficial line in the skin where colour pigment seeps in and settles then. If there is any discomfort at this time we add another quick layer of numbing cream for the area which will become effective after a few minutes. I add on a final layer of pigment that stays on for 5mins, clean the region and et voila beautiful brows!

In 6-8 weeks there’s a top-up session to fill in any gaps in which the pigment hasn’t taken or healed properly. Why is there a top up session and once does this happen?

The very best up session happens after 6-8 weeks. It is now time where I will assess the first steps, and add in every further strokes and add a darker pigment if preferred.

What will happen in the mean time? You’ll have to adhere to the after care instructions (see below) and avoid any picking or scratching. Your eyebrows will begin to heal over, similar to a tattoo, which could cause irritation but is completely normal.

In the next ten days roughly your eyebrows can change colour, might become flaky and appear like they’ve faded but this is totally normal. They’ll reveal their final colour and shape after around 30 days. This could then be topped up at the second session.

How can you determine what shape to get? Should we bring pictures? Clients are welcome to bring in images of the style of brow they like, or are available in with all the brow make up they normally wear over a daily basis but I’ll determine xytyrl colour and contour around use from my numerous years of experience.

Obtain the right colour…People come in and often want darker than I would recommend, but it’s always preferable to go a bit more natural you could increase the amount of in to the top up session for a darker colour.

I’ll take a look at hair colour, eye colour and skin utilizing the Fitzpatrick Chart, which takes into account the way your skin will alter with exposure to the sun etc., to be sure the correct colour pigment choice. Get the right shape. I’ll compare your eyebrows using a Microblading Ruler to choose the perfect shape of brow which can be individual to each client. According to this, I’ll freehand the last shape.
